Make Sure to add Slydsho or Roseate to get the invite to our chatroom

Adding a Friend:

On your toolbar go to : Users>Add Friends...

 In the new window type your friend's name in the search field and press "Enter" or click on "Search".
Click on the name and then click "Add Selected" at the bottom right of the window.

 Your friend's name will appear in the "Friendship Pending" area. NOTE: If you received a request it will pop up in the lower area under the "Alerts" tab, read the alert and accept the request.

 Setting up chat overlay in game:

On your toolbar go to: Tools>Audio Controls...

 Click on the "Overlays" Tab, Setup yours to look like this, you can move the box in the graph to change where the overlay pops up in game.
Once finished, click on "Edit the program exceptions list.." button at the bottom.

Locate your TERA installation folder and add the two executables.
make sure the drop down list says "use overlays"
make sure that the "always" check boxes are "checked"
Then hit "OK"

Disable Surround Sound:

In Tools>Audio Controls..

click on the "Audio Options" tab, on the "Output Format" drop down list,

Choose "Mono" and hit "OK"

 Entering/Leaving Rooms:

Joining: click on the circle with an arrow pointing up to join a chat room, in your "Chats" tab

Leaving: click on the circle with an arrow pointing right to exit, or simply close the chat window
